Summer is over and looks like it took fall with it.

Fall is my favorite season of the year, but it seems like summer leads straight into the wet rainy winter here in western WA. Rarely do we have a nice autumn phase between summer and fall/winter. Sucks.

First light snow started tonight just a few minutes ago in northern Wisconsin. 🙁

When it rained here for almost two straight weeks I was ready to kill myself... I can't imagine living in Washington with all of that constant rain.

I used to LOVE snow when I was younger, just like everyone else. Now it just sucks because it turns everyone into dipshits and makes getting around a royal pain in the ass.

When I was a child, snow was fun. Once I started working in it, driving in it, and having to shovel it, snow became a LOT less fun. (especially working outside in it.)

When you say 'here', where is that? Just curious.

2 weeks straight? When my bro and his new wife moved here after college, we had record rain. Something like 80 straight days. She is from the PA/NY area, and was getting seriously depressed. However, the whole rain thing is kind of overblown, its just that instead of really cold winters with lots of snow, we have lots of drizzling grey days instead. I much prefer that, an inch or two of snow brings this area to its knees with all of the hills and drivers that don't know how to handle snow.

The summers in the NW are a thing of beauty, no humidity either. IMO, the marine climate is very underrated.

It was in the 80's 2 days ago and lasted for almost a week but guess mood swings are there for mother nature also.

Its still summer here. I wore shorts and flip flops today. Also burned myself on the leather of my car seat.

Low 80s here inland, 70s along the coast, mid to low 60s at night...damned near perfect. Probably be like this for the next couple months.

Wow, that's crazy.

But yeah, fall is definitely setting in here in Santa Fe. It's forecast to be in the low to mid 70s for the next 10 days. It won't get hot again.

A funny thing is as texas is having is summer of hell, we here in California have been having one the most mild summers on record.
