So what kind of internships did people land for the summer? I have one semester left for degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science and landed an internship doing MS Reporting Services, SQL Server 2000, and VB.net for a compay taht services credit unions and I have to say I am not happy in the least bit. only plus side is they are paying me a rediculious amount to sit on ATOT.

so what are you doing for the summer and do you like it?

This will be my third 3 month internship with SolidWorks and I love it. Got my own office with my name on the door 🙂

I've been here since January.

I have 1.5-2 years left in Computer Engineering.

I have a job at the R&D facility of emp-corp.com.

It's pretty decent job, good place to work, good pay...

I am halfway through getting an EE degree and will be working for National Semiconductor this summer. I don't start until the 19th, so I don't know if I will like it yet.

I just started mine Monday. It's been very slow so far, but I think it will get better.

Same here. I've just been training, learning the graphical programming language they use. Looks like I'll be doing this for another week or so. But they are working on some cool stuff so I'm still excited about it.

i am an intern in the electrical instruments and controls department of a nuclear plant. $20.15 an hour to do paperwork most of the time.

Fatwallet would seem like a fun company to work for.

Congrats!

it is a real fun place to work for, great people, great boss, great company. There are four other interns here and all of them are awesome!

This is my 3rd year interning at the Air Force Research Lab. I mostly do tech support stuff and it's pretty cool. I will probably return once I graduate for a full-time job.

This is my second year interning with a big company that makes commercial airliners (the one that is selling more planes right now). Last year it was okay, but this year I actually get to do aerodynamic design work on new airplanes 🙂

Are you at WPAFB? What part of AFRL are you in? I was a student research assistant at AFIT two years ago and did a lot of work with AFRL. Dayton is a sucky place to live, but the museum makes up for it.

🙁, can't find a summer IT job or internship in Chicago, looked for about two months now, I think it's too late!

Office of Hawaiian Affairs: Native Rights, Land and Culture Division. NAGPRA stuff.

Fellowship. Paid.
