Summer = hot. Anyone use these exterior Snap Shades on their windows?

kind of hard to believe the low e glass didn't cut the heat transfer even with tall windows like that.

solution looks pretty extreme, block out the entire window with dark mesh, you might as well put some plywood in front of the window:p

The sun is intensely hot, apparently. I know, it's news to me as well... :sneaky:

If there was a better way to reduce the effect of the sun's heat inside the house, I'd consider it. This just seems like the most cost effective and overall effective, too.
