Some people are getting compensation from the class suit already. I imagine they'll file another suit w/ the 5G iPods.

Jebus! I HATE AMERICAN GREED! Why isn't it enough to go after a refund for the Nano alone??? Why go after company profits??? Gawd! Fvck 'em. I hope the judge laughs in their faces.

Just another example of how everything in this country is being fvcked up by greed!!!

statutes are enacted for a reason... if apple violated the statutes, why shouldn't they have to pay?

IF you bought it, and it got scratched through normal use you would want a replacement or a a refund. Is that so hard to understand Ironcrotch?

I have 2 iPods, and they scratch, so what, sh!t like this is a fact of life? The face of my watch scratches, my new car has scratches in the paint, I buy a music CD and that sh!t scratches like a monther, and my shoes are a little scuffed. And that was only through normal use :disgust:, I'm just gonna sue every car manufacturer cuz my car needs a tune up. Should last forever, since I'm not really doing anything with it, just using it every damn day.

This is because most of the people buying IPOD nano's are attention wh0res.. they are buying it for show over functionality so it means everything to them that it stays in pristine condition

Yup, apple should have been sued sooner but the white doesn't show the scratches as easly. There claim that the nano is the same as earlyer ipods might come back to bite them in the ass.

And this is what kills the legitimacy of the suit, IMHO. It's one thing to want a refund/replacement, that I could support, but to ask for a chunk of the company's profits it just profiteering and dishonest.

As someone who has owned a 15gb 3g and currently a Nano, i can assure you that the nano scratches CONSIDERABLY easier than my old 15gb model.

It is a class action lawsuit. For a laywer not to seek any and all money he can get would be unethical and could get him sued.

Are they insane scratches that make the device unusable? Or just "minor" scratches?
