My cousin commited suicide last year. He was the oldest child in our generation and we all looked up to him as kids - the whole extended family still hasn't got over it. Suicide is unpardonable for the anguish that it imposes on others
Sure it might not hurt you, but it is bound to hurt those that love you.

I suspect actually many suicides are quitefull, not the mention the many many botched or failed attempts, those must really hurt. Mash sucked too btw

Can anyone actually imagine how low you would have to be to have the ability to kill yourself? I sure can't. Maybe we shouldn't look at how the suicide affected everyone around that person, but how those people around that person may have contributed to driving him or her to suicide. Prevent the cause, don't dwell on the effect.

He was 32 and an alcoholic. Most of my family's been through the same/similar troubles that he had financially. No one took to alcohol and no one else committed suicide. People who commit suicide have only their pain in mind and to end it they kill themselves. His pain ended with his death. Our's multiplied several fold.
