lets say some schmuck sticks 1/2 a pound of RDX up his ass and hides a plasting cap in a disposable camera. He then proceeds to stroll into grand central station, go into the bathroom, and shove the blasting cap up his ass too. he then walks into the crowd and kaboom. is there and defence against attacks like these?

That is not the answer. They honestly feel that it's an honor to die under such circumstances. The only defence is called profiling. You know which group is attacking you. Keep that group out. Of course that's not always practical or legal.

Maybe we should nuke the dome of the rock if they don't stop? I think they believe that have to visit it atleast once in order to make it back to allah
