the israelis tried to arrest bomb-makers who shot at them from a bomb factory. it is exactly this type of justification that i was talking about. if people would stop making excuses for terrorists and start dealing with them, the situation would probably be a lot better.

very educated response. idf seeks out terrorists, they dont randomly kill people. i havent heard of any civilian targets being bombed by israeli terrorists.

At least the IDF goes after militants who actually make weapons are are using them. I don't recall hearing about too many bomb-making, AK-toting Israeli children, yet the Palestinians seem to have no problem killing them.
On the other hand, I think it was foolish for Sharon to go after a terrorist leader like that, you know, what with the cease fire and all...

Both sides are acting like complete asses, but at least Israel isn't actively targeting innocent civilians.

I know some of you in this forum think that the palestinians will stop their resisting if Isreal continue their occupation on the palestinian people but you don't get it do you!
 
Czar is the only smart one here. IDF cares nothing for palestinian life, you're a fool if you think otherwise. they will 'accidently' kill a palestinian, child or not, with no remorse. don't you people read? there is no justification for suicide bombers, and there's no justification for what IDF does to civilians. dropping a bomb on an apt. building to take out one 'terrorist leader', killing several children at the same time, is NOT okay. Don't forget the palestinians have far more deaths than the israelies. "They're all terrorist militants".. please.. I don't justify what they do, I DO understand it though. However, Israel should be the better/more mature one, but they're just as bad as any suicide bombers.

And there ARE israeli terrorists.

I always respond to Pro Israel threads because I can't stand that people try to justify what they do, or make them seem like the better side in the conflict. 95% of the palestinian arguments favor neither side, and favor peace and change in both leadership.
 
I think both sides are idiotic. It's like a Dr. Seuss story gone terribly wrong, and no one will stop the retaliation long enough to make real progress.

but I would have thought that now people there would have learned that agression is only met with agression, so because of this incident and of all the others by both the palestinians and the Isrealis during the cease fire this will only escalade untill this peace process will be nothing but past history. That is exactly what the extremist settlers want, and that is what they think will happen and we realy dont want to please them now do we?
