suggestions to stay awake in the office

It doesn't help that I sit behind a computer screen and do tax stuff. Suggestions? I haven't done the all nighter thing for at least 5 years!

How long do you have left in the day?

I read somewhere that if you take a 15-20 min nap, you would sleep enough to wake up refreshed and make it through the day (nap not long enough to go into deep sleep which will make you even sleepier once you wake up).

Don't know if it'll work in your case, though. :moon:

west coast...i just started my day...ugh!

Thanks for the suggestions. Looks like I'm going to make a lot of trips to the cafeteria for coffee.

Wow. Only an hour into the day and I'm struggling.

I'd love to do push-ups, but my rotator cuff is messed up.

Take some viveran (SP) or trucker no dose pills at any truck stop. Also snack all day long. For some reason if you eat it keeps you away (just dont eat turkey or chicken)

Everytime you feel like you're nodding off, go to the bathroom and splash some cold water on your face. A nap during lunch might help.

Type, talk, or do something to keep you from being silent and motionless. This is when your body will be tricked into thinking it is sleep time and doze off.
Calories are your friend

You're gonna have to stand up and do about 35 seconds of walking around every 15 minutes + coffee + crystal meth. You'll be good.
