I feel that my prize as MVC this year will not be best used on my account for Seventeen or Bust, therefore, I would like to donate that CPU time to a struggling project.

Now, I don't know exactly how many of the projects are doing, and which could do with a week's worth of work from ViRGE and others.

If people from these projects can please tell me current team position, current production rates, any upcoming threats or conquests, and I shall try to decide where this power can be best used.

Also, I do not want this thread to turn into any kind of flame fest. If anyone has any problems with anything someone has said, please take it to PM, this thread is not what that is for :)

Not sure if there's any imminent danger of losing a place, but I do know that our Folding@Home team is currently sitting in 24th place overall. :(

Not that SETI wouldn't welcome your undivided attention ;) but, I think you should devote your attention to the most beneficial project, one that will have the most realtime impact on mankind!

This is a most noble thing you propose my friend

As MVC, I have faith you will wisely choose :)

I just started running dpad and feel it is a very worth while project.

"Actually the machine that's being built (costing at least $1.9bn) has several scientific aims. The neutrinos are used for fundamental physics experiments, but the proton beam that is produced at the start (this hits the target rod at the beginning of the simulation you download) is also going to be used in experiments for neutralising radioactive waste by transmuting the radioactive elements into stable ones"

Finding a way to neutralise all the radioactive waste we have on this planet is very benificial in my book as that is a major problem that doesn't recieve enough press.
You can find out more about the problem here

You might look at his fleet and see what project it is best suited for. I could be wrong but I think he has some Macs and there are a few projects that they seem to do very well at.

It's a worthwhile project IMHO,

Cheers

I'd like to vote for a project that I don't (and never have) participate in. Community TSC could really use a boost. It is a project surching for cures for childhood diseases so the cause couldn't be any more worth while. If I remember correctly we are in 13th place but our daily production is around 25th place. The project is quite small and the weekly production of the MVC would put the TeAm in the top 10 (possibly top 5) in production for that week.

Or FAD and DF are cool to.;)

TSC seems to have exactly 1 active user... Chessaroo. I think that would make that 'TeAm' the most in need of aid! :)

OK, noted pleas ;) for TSC, DPAD and F@H.

I shall talk to ViRGE and see what his fleet would be best on :)

Hi Confused, I'm currently running SETI and I've recently joined DPAD. DPAD is great, we're currently in 6th place after passing team [ARS] last week. We'll be passed in 6 days by team [US-Distributed] if we can't move it up a bit! They're out producing us by far. Although our daily production has increased alot by new members joining, it's still not enough to keep our current spot for long...

[TA]DPAD has 30 members and would welcome anyone wanting to help out with open arms!!!
DPAD is WAY COOL!!!

The team stats:

Thanx for thinking about it...:D
