My budget is $3500, this is my first time doing this so let me know if everything adds up, and will work correctly. Im basically trying to make a powerful PC for both video editing and primarily gaming. Im not worried about price or value, just want the build to work properly and run quietly as well. BTW does anyone know how loud this will run compared to an Xbox 360 non Slim? Thanks

CyberpowerPC

Wow. What a complete waste of money.
Professional Wiring for All WIRING Inside The System Chassis - Minimize Cable Exposure, Maximize Airflow in Your System [+19$]
LOL.
Just build the rig yourself, and buy a nice 30'' monitor with the rest of the money.

well some people dont care about money at I guess. even if I had plenty of money though I could not live with myself spending that much for that pc.

I'm curious johny2314, didn't you ask this question back in april. I'm guessing you never got around to building it. Although it's kind of funny it's gone from a 1k pc - some crazy monster tri-sli gtx580 with water cooling/lights etc, to various other forms. Hopefully this time around the advice will actually be put to use (although alot of people will say if you can wait since you already did a few months, to build it when the 28nm gpu's get released)

lol yea its taking a while, but i think im ready. 28nm gpu's?

28nm gpus? (ready yet?)

No not yet... there 1-2 months away for AMD versions of 28nm GPUs, and like 6months away for Nvidia ones (going by rumors).

Anyways, when 28nm comes out, there will be single GPUs almost as fast as the 590 is and use less power and probably be cheaper.

Still I doubt theres any game now or in the near future that a 590 or a 6990 would struggle with (unless your playing at 3 moniter size resoultions or something).

how quiet will my current build run compared to an xbox 360 non slim version?

Why are you comparing a desktop to a game console?

Also, are you actively trying to waste money? Things are WAY marked up in that build.

Pay me 3500 I'll build a rig and send it to you. It will be faster than that and I will do the professional wire management for free!

I will build you a quiet PC for 3,250 that beats the hell out of that computer and i will guarantee an OC of 4.5Ghz.

LOUD

CS_FAN: Default case fans
LOUD

FAN: CyberPower Xtreme Hydro Liquid Cooling Kit 240MM w/ Dual Fan(CPU & GPU Liquid Cool Capable, Extreme Overclcking Performance + Extreme Slient at 18dBA) [+20]
Unneeded, unless you're an OC nut.

NOISEREDUCE1: Sound Absorbing Foam on Side, Top And Bottom panels [+29]
NOISEREDUCE2: Power Supply Gasket [+5]
NOISEREDUCE3: Anti-Vibration Fan Mounts [+9]
A better quiet case, and these would not be needed. I also doubt they will do much good with one of those Cooler Master cases. Cyperpowerpc's selection is not all that good, for cases, either. The NZXT H2 is probably your bets bet, of what they have, but I wouldn't get any of them, if I had $3500 to spend (of course, I'd get two monitors, first, if I had $3500 to spend 🙂).

POWERSUPPLY: * 850 Watts - Corsair CMPSU-850TXV2 80 Plus Power Supply - Quad SLI Ready [+103]
Not bad, but overkill, unless you intend to OC to the max.

VIDEO: EVGA Liquid Cooling NVIDIA GTX Series PCIe Video [+671] (Liquid Cooling NVIDIA GTX 590 Classified Hydro Copper 3GB 16X GDDR5 VRAM [+189])
No idea how loud that'll be, but it will also likely be overkill.

That PC is going to be expensive, even for what it is, and not quiet.

The system is a complete waste of money.

Regardless of whether you have the money to spend or not, it would be far better idea to built it yourself. If you have never built a computer or lack the technical knowlege, then buy all the parts YOURSELF and ask a local PC shop in your area to build it for you. Whatever website you're buying it from is charging a markup not only on their time & service but also is more than likely hiked up the prices on the parts as well.

^^ Judging from the mutliple threads, & back-to-back postings (complete failure to use the edit button), it looks like some kind of neffing.
