Suggestions for replacement cpu.

I have a K7M board with a K7-500 modded to 700. The chip has died. I am debating between another K7 or a T-bird (slot a). What would you people recommend and why?

TBird, get em before stocks run out.
Full speed 256Kb Level2 cache, 0.18micron. Can't remember more...

So the T-bird with full speed 256K L2 cache is better than 512 @ 1/2 speed.
