good luck :)

assuming this is going to be a gaming rig, so although the cpu is a little on the slower side, most games are gpu limited and you really won't see much of a difference in current games with a different cpu

from my 2.8P4 to my opty144@ 1.8GHz to it a 2.5GHz i really don't see much in a difference gaming wise because of my gpu. if i am editing/encoding then i see a difference.

Ok here are the CPUs he said that where compatible with my mobo:

AMD Athlon64 processor (socket 939)
AMD Sempron processor (socket 939)
Athlon 64 X2 processor (socket 939)

Here are my PCs Specs

Wow he sure is trying to get a sale. First he tried selling me a CPU, then a HDD, then Ram, and now a video card.

Yeah I have never done much gaming. Except for Diablo II and AoE II. That is why I am wanting to upgrade the monitors and video card so that I can get into the whole PC gaming scene. I am needing a CPU more right now because I currently have on average at least 15+ programs running at a time. And thats not so easy with such a slow processor. (And worst thing is I can't overclock it)
