I'm not exactly sure what the site is for? You have a translator, comics, etc... what's the focus?

Nice clean design, but shouldn't the "navigation menu" be renamed "links"?

also, as previously stated, what is the focus here?

The focus is a start page for me. It has all the resources I need to access. It saves time since it has everything in one place, like the dictionary, encyclopedia, google search, etc.

I put google search and a dictionary on my desktop, as well as some links to my favorite sites. It's quite helpful ..

Then why do you care what other people think of it?

Ok, here are my professional former-QA-master suggestions: :)

1. The clock is unnecessary and is actually distracting
2. You could brighen up that really dark blue background
3. Is it me or is the text in listboxes gray, not black? That's harder to read.
4. Put the "Translate" button close to the "English to Spanish" listbox.
5. Don't link to pics on other people's servers (Garfield) ;)
6. That navigation menu on the right is cool, but the [x] and [...] are very unconventional.
7. Your Search feature simply searches on Google. Why would you want to do that?
8. You need a logo
9. Open Search results and other external pages in a new window
10. Don't hijack my right mouse button
11. Maybe put a comment next to each link (Kazaa, HiLite, etc) to explain what that stuff is so people know what they're clicking.

Good luck, good job, keep it up, don't drink and drive :D

Maybe he's looking for suggestions on ways to improve it. If it were my site I would just have all the sub-menus right there and eliminate the navigation menu. And I like m-w.com for dictionary .. but that's just me.

Other than that I agree with VBboy's suggestions.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. Special thanks to VBboy for the nice list of things to fix. Oh, and newbiecpuuser, I'm looking into dhtml and javascript so that the menus load faster since they won't have to refer to a page outside of the one it already loads. Any other suggestions are welcome as well.
