When mamma took me to Sunday School
They tried to teach me the golden rule
Every time the choir would sing
I'd sit there and play with my ding a ling

My ding a ling, my ding a ling
I want to play with my ding a ling
My ding a ling, my ding a ling
I wanna play with my ding a ling

I remember the girl next door
We used to play house on the kitchen floor
She'd be the queen, I'd be the king
Together we'd play with my ding a ling a ling

My ding a ling, my ding a ling
I want to play with my ding a ling
My ding a ling, my ding a ling
I want to play with my ding a ling

This here song, it is so sad
To those of you who never had
Silver bells hanging on a string
So you could play with your own ding a ling

Check out Bobby Darin -- That's All.

It's a pretty catchy little tune, done in his sort of upbeat BeBop tempo that was popular in the late 50s and early 60s.

I can only give you love that lasts forever
And the promise to be near each time you call
And the only heart I own, for you and you alone
That's all, that's all

I can only give you country walks in springtime
And a hand to hold when leaves begin to fall
And a love whose burning light
Will warm the winter's night, that's all, that's all

There are those I am sure who have told you
They would give you the world for a toy
All I have are these arms to enfold you
And a love time can never destroy

If you're wondering what I'm asking in return, dear
You'll be glad to know that my demands are small
Say it's me that you'll adore, for now and evermore
That's all, that's all

There are those I am sure who have told you
They would give you the world for a toy
All I have are these arms to enfold you
And a love time can never destroy

If you're wondering what I'm asking in return, dear
You'll be glad to know that my demands are small
Say it's me that you'll adore
Yes, me that you'll adore, for now and evermore
That's all

Well, I only know of English (American) stuff and really the only slow crooner stuff I know of is from years ago. Probably the most recent would be Lou Rawls. He's got a ton of stuff. Mathis and Boone are too corny and lounge lizard type. Sinatra may be too out of date.
