I've searched the forums, searched google, searched everywhere, but I can't seem to find a program that I'm almost positive I've used in the past.
Here's the deal - when I boot up and XP loads (after choosing the user) it is taking an extremely long time for the system resources to get freed up. Task manager shows almost no CPU usage for various programs during this time, but I still get the hourglass as I attempt to open, for example, a web browser.
The program I remember actually tracks (and logs) the time and resources it takes for each program to load at startup, and by using it one would be able to figure out what is causing the slow boot. Anybody know of a program like this? TIA.
