I have been searching for a case for the new PC that I am about to build. I have been looking at
COOLER MASTER Model# ATC-201B-SX2 but I cant decide. I plan on putting in Audigy 2 platinum sound card but I not sure if the face plate will cause some issues. Any suggestions fellas?

I find those cases along with Lian LI too expensive. I have an Antec 1040 Alumimun blue case. My CPU runs fine in it and you have a ton of room for expansion. As for the LiveDrive, if it interferes with the door, just push it back a little. If the holes don't allow it to go back a little, drill some new holes for the screws. This is if you get an Antec style case. That is toally up to you, just my thoughts of spending tooooooo much for just the computer case. And anyway, I've always like Antec style cases for the longest time, except the Tt Xaser II, the front is ugly and the orange fans look tacky real bad. :)

Hi 1Man Army,

I own a Lian Li PC65B. Great case.. Right now, www.directron.com has a good assortment of alum cases. Also www.coolerguys.com has the Lian Li PC65 Silver case selling for $114.95 and its smaller brother the PC50 for $89.95. All prices are in USD.

I hope this helped, :)

The only thing I can say is that you are going to have to watch what you choose. I am in the same boat. Since I will be using 1 5.25" bay for the Audity, 1 for DVD-ROM, 1 for CD-RW, 1 for DVD+-RW, means no room for fan/temp monitor with all the cases people here post about. I require a minimum of 5x 5.25" bays, so that means a TRUE "full tower" case. Only thing I have really seen anymore is the Lian Li PC-70 series, but they are on the old side now, and doen't even support USB 2.0 on the front, only 1.1. Anyone know of any other cases?

The one Coolermaster ATC-201B-SX2 that I have my eye on has 4 5.25 bays. I plan on a DVD ROM, CD-RW, and Audigy 2 platinum sound card. That will leave one bay open. Down the road after prices drop some more I might replace the DVD ROM with the Pioneer DVR-A05 (Burner). Also Cooler Master just came out with a new model ATC-201A-SX1 Air Tower guide specifically for P4 3.2 Ghz and higher. It has 4 cooling fans plus one 10cm air guide on the side panel. The only problem is that there is no side window to display my pretty lights :):D:|:Q

Coolermaster! I just got the 201-SX2 from newegg. It's an incredible piece of work. I only wish I could put it on top of my desk for me to look at it on a regular basis. :)

:) I myself just bought a case last night for a similar rig (going for 3.2 P4 though, with Audigy 2 Platinum EX)... I picked up the Coolermaster ATC-201A-SX1. It seems to have all the space I will need, and it shouldn't clash too hard with the Audigy 2 5.25 bay. Worst case, I break out the model paints and do a paint job. I'm slowly ordering all my equipment right now (sucks having only a small credit limit, can only or 2 or 3 things at once, then need to make a trip to bank and pay off the card). Hoping to have most of the stuff by the time Intel releases the 3.2 GHz and the Canterwoods are out next Monday (then I can read the reviews on the Canterwoods here and order one :) ).

So this is a vote for the ATC-201 series, be it black or whatever, they have been approved by Intel (well the ones with the air duct) for very good cooling for P4's 3GHz+.

As you will note I found a way to fit in a 4x 5.25 case (only going with a DVD-ROM and DVD+-R/RW, no CD-RW)....
