I've never seen that on any of the computers I have used to browse AT.

They come up very rarely. Dunno why my adblock is enabled on Anandtech, I always had it disabled. I'll go reenable it because even though the Forums are not what they used to be, the main site still has many good articles.
 
I hope to not see incredibly obtrusive ads like that on here..

I was just bragging in another "I hate the new layout" thread that I'll probably be using this more.. but that opinion would be greatly different if I had to fight off ads that were popping up everywhere.

I hate how ads dominate the internet so much.
 
Ads? What ads? Folks, as much as AT may dislike this attitude, but you should take matters in your own hands and get rid of ads by using an appropriate browser that supports blocking of ads. Simple as that. Dont blame the forum software for it...
