i have an old athlon xp 1800+ processor with pc 133 memory, agp videocard, and a thermalright 947u heatsink that bolts to the mb. Whats a decent MB to replace my crap ECS K7s5a mb? I dont care about about overclocking. Only requirement is that i can still use my old components and the board comes with onboard sound,LAN, and USB

SDRAM memory is what will make finding a board a bit tough. You'll need to search around http://www.pricewatch.com and see who still has old stock for sale and take what you can find.

If you're willing to buy DDR memory (512Mb can be found for less than $50), you can get a lot newer board and leave yourself an upgrade path.

i was thinking about getting one from ebay but have no idea which board to get. I would get another k7s5a board but all the ones ive seen have a problems with keeping the settings in the bios even with new batteries. It just seems to be a waste to throw away 1gig worth of sdram. Any ideas on what board to get?
