Suggestion for Flight Sim

Can anyone suggest a good flight sim? I haven't played since Jetfighter 3, and had lots of fun with that. I've gotten the urge to play some more, but don't know whats good and what isn't. What I'm mostly looking for is action with some realism, but not realism to the extreme. I fooled around with Jane's F15, but that was too serious for me. I prefer a simulation using modern airplanes, none of that WW2 or Vietnam stuff. Cooperative and competitive multiplayer features are very important. Keyboard is all that will be used, so no joystick-required games. Great graphics are a must. Does anything fit that bill?

Man, & I thought you were looking for suggestions to WRITE a flight sim...

.o(I'd like an ultralight, & a scenery expansion pack entitled "Nude Beaches of the World." And a 1 mph stall speed...)

USAF. Modern planes, easy FM, but not as cheesy as JFIII. I don't have it, but I had IAF, and I only hear that USAF is much better than IAF. I enjoyed IAF immensely.

Edit: You wanna just use your keyboard, and you don't enjoy the Vietnam Era?! Get yourself a Novalogic sim. Those are easy.

Real men use joysticks. :D

Just got the new Saitek Cyborg 3d gold usb at bestbuy for $29. No flight sim is good without a stick or yoke and better with rudder pedals.

I would use a joystick, but it has to be playable without. My whole plan is to have 4-5 people in my dorm play over the LAN, and its unrealistic to expect each to get a joystick. I have an X-36 at home, though, so no stranger to joysticks here. ;)

ttt

I read combatsim's review of usaf, and it looks pretty good. Does it require a joystick though?
