hello, this is just a suggestion, but i think anandtech should have a whole separate forum titled "U.S. crisis" or "America's New War"... The name is just a suggestion but the point is to add another forum to anandtech so people can discuss issues on america's crisis...this way the messages in off-topic wont be mostly cluttered with news from america's war. The new forum would also be on-topic for discussing issues about america's new war... so why not add another forum so this forum wont be so cluttered with news that we get to hear on CNN all day?

FYI, I posted a Poll about this idea and the mod said it would never happen and locked the thread. That was a few weeks back.

not to crap on your thread, even though i'm kinda tired of 5 of the same threads all about the new "war"
but if you at the top of the page it says AnandTech -computer hardware discussion forums
so anything in the news not related to computers is really OT

...a gread idea! Suggest calling it AnandTech Global News Network. All that has to be done is to take Off Topic forum and filter the topics involving body functions (probably 50%) and add some responsibility such as links to breaking news.

Let's just say we're more likely to get the Ferengi Forum before we get a "U.S. crisis" or "America's New War" forum.

It's fine where it is currently, in OT.
