ATI X800XL
Giga-Byte GF6800GT GV-N68T256DH
BFG GF6800GT OC

Just so you know thoses are my only choice.
So no other recomendation.

Price is exaclty the same (well for me ) for the 3 cards so this is no concerne.

I have read multiple review allready, what I'm looking for by asking in this topic is personnal or non review fact you might have on those cards to help me make my final decision.

Thx

I would like the silence of the Gigabyte but thats just me. For the same price I would definately go with either one of the 6800Gts.

BFG 6800GT OC, no contest.

Since prices are the same 6800GT is a better card than x800xl for the most part. It can be overclocked to Ultra speeds, has SM3.0 support (which i suppose helps in few games - but it's a bonus). Since the BFG card also comes overclocked and has excellent customer support, it is the one to go for 🙂

Ok well...Like I said I can have anty 3 of them, but the BGF need some kind of "tour de force" for me to get it so any negative feedback on the GB because this one like i said is allready reserved and is waiting for me...but still can cancel my reservation?

well the BFG has a lifetime warranty. Gigabyte is not a bad card but BFG has much better quality than any other brand and i realyl dont understans why you prefer gigabyte.

I have no preference, that's the goal of this whole topic..help me prefer something 🙂

For now I stick with the GB because it would be very hard the get the BFG for the same price, but i could...so unless i have really good reason not to go with GB...ill stick with it.

But let me ask this, why no one seems to like the ATI X800XL? I'm talking about a build by ...

Well since you can get them all for the same price, the 6800GTs offer slightly better performance than the X800XL, the BFG card giving the best out of the 3 you listed. The BFGs life-time warranty is great, as well as it being factory overclocked.

X800xl ocs very badly compared to the 6800gts so it starts off about 1% faster but ends up something like 10% behind after a little bit of work. Also you are efficetively getting SM3 for free which is nice. i would never promote paying say $30 just for sm3 like some people but when yopu get HDr capability fro free it's nice.
