I was thinking of renewing my contract...but the prices would actually seem to be higher. i wanted to get a T8900 because I liked the planner function. It was nice, quick, and easy to use. I don't/won't use the internet functions. I don't want a data plan.

However, now i'm thinkin of buying a used one off ebay. So as long as I have the same nice keypad, and intuitive planner function, I'm a happy camper.

What older model still has the same planner GUI/input method, that I can pick up for cheap?

Thanks =)

If you get a Blackberry through a wireless company, get the discounted price, you'll have to get a data plan.

yeah, but for tmobile (my carrier- for many reasons i have to stick with them) they require you to get a data plan for atleast 4 months at a cost of 25 bucks per month. I have to get that data plan...and that is essentially 100 dollars more I'm paying for a phone bceause I will not use the dataplan.

So wha tI'd rather do is buy an older blackberry(unlocked?) and pop my sim in there. Still functions as a phone, and still hopefully get the nice intuitive planner function that the T8900 (I believe its the curve) has. That is all I'm hoping for.
