Suggestion for a 55" LED tv?

I'm currently looking at the LG 55LM4600 which is currently $800 at Wal-Mart or $900 at Best Buy. I'm hoping to price match the Wal-Mart price at Fry's.

Is there a better 55" LED television for the same price range (under $1000). I'll be primarily using it for watching TV shows and movies. I have no interest in watching 3D content at home, so 3D is not required.

I bought the LG 55LM6700 from Fry's back in early November for $889. It does have 3D but of course you don't need to utilize that feature if you don't want to. I'm pretty happy with it after running it through calibration. There's a little bit of backlight bleed in the top right corner but it has gone away mostly by adjusting the local dimming feature to Medium. It also has WiFi and apps if that's your thing.

Looks nice, but its $1400 at Frys now ($1269 on Amazon).

Who cares what would be you watching...You need TV, right?

Why walmart or bestbuy? Don't you want to get it cheaper on Newegg?

I bought my LCD LG TV from Newegg, when it was ~$150-200 more @ walmart or bestbuy....

Just check Newegg e-mails on tuesdays or thursdays...
