I work in desktop support for a large company. This includes the day to day break/fix type stuff, setting up accounts etc. Its not the traditional 'Help Desk' role but more of a jack of all trades typ thing. Over the last two years though, I have gotten more and more into projects that effects the whole company-being project lead several times. I managed the upgrade of 600 PC's over the course of two months as well as company wide upgrade of our CRM management software.

Its review time and my boss is encouraging a name title change. He said to think of something thats accurate but encompassing to my Desktop duties as well as Project management responsibilites.

What can you think of?

I'd use any of the following titles:

IT Support Team Lead
Desktop Systems Support Manager
IT Support Manager, or if you want to get really cocky...
Director of IT Support

Governor.

I was talking to some guys in class today and we agreed that would be an awesome title. Call yourself Governor, don't answer to anything *but* Governor, and politely request that people pronounce it "Gov'nah"
