Suggest me a decent flight game (no flight sims please)?

Title says it all folks.

I'm looking for a good flying game. Nothing flight sim though. I have MS Flight Sim and it rocks, but I want something like the older Descent 1 and 2, but I would like something with newer graphic technology.

Some suggestions please?

Yes, I second the BF: 1942 mod Desert Combat.
I use it with my MS Sidewinder FF.

An older game that is still fun is Rogue Squadron too.

BF1942/Vietnam/DC are great. You can also pick-up Crimson Skies for $10.00 or less.
