Hi all,
I have bought a Dell 2405FPW (1920x1200) and a Dell 2005FPW (1600x1050), I am therefore looking for a video card with dual dvi output that I can use for gaming as well. I currently have a radeon9800 pro with one dvi and one vga output.

Can you suggest a card for <$250.00 that is as fast or faster than the 9800pro that has dual dvi and is good for gaming (DX9)

Thanks

nothing for that price that is a lot faster.

An X800Xl is around $300 and can be had with dual dvi that will be much faster.

can it handle 1920x1200 on one port and 1600x1050 on the other?

also is the x800xl as fast as the nvidia 6800?

The x800xl is better than the 6800GT. If you want to use AA, you'll need the x800xl. It rapes the 6800GT at that resolution. This is coming from a 6800GT owner. Ignore 1024x768 benchmarks. They won't mean anything to you.

Actually no. You'll only be able to run at a maximum of 1600X1200 with that card. Unless go DB15 or dual-link DVI.

it doesnt rape the 6800GT dude....get ur damm facts rite before making such stupid comments. the only game where the x800XL pounds the 6800GT is in HL2 and NSFU2 i guess. otherwise performance is very similar with the GT edging out the XL in most benchmarks with the GT whooping it in Doom3 and other OpenGL games.

Quit senselessly arguing and post links to reputable benchmarks that back up your statements.
