Suggest a tank sim please

I thought driving the tank in MOHAA was kinda fun. I loved M1 Tank Platoon (Microprose), when it first came out. That's the only one I've played.

Suggestions for a good tank sim?

I don't really do FPS.....but, just finished MOHAA and really liked it. I wouldn't even have considered it if I hadn't seen Anandtechers talking about it.

Well, there's not many recent tank sims out there. Check out tanksim.com for some.

My humble opinion: for a fun moden tank game, try Armored Fist 3...for a more thorough WW2 tank sim, try Steel Beasts.

I dunno why I'd forgotten all about tank sims since M1 Tank Platoon. As I recall, it was alot of fun. Course, at that time, what by Microprose wasn't?

i'm not a 'sim' guy but i do like wargaming and inevitably read the reviews....from what i've seen 'panzer elite' is the best for a WW2 tank sim while 'steel beasts' seems to be where it's at for modern day (it's not ww2 like the other guy states above)
