Suggest a PSU

[Common Sense]

Could I bother someone for a suggestion on a PSU? Looking to spend around $50+

E6400
2x1 gig ddr2 667
IDE HD
SATA HD
x850
5 case fans

either of these work ok, or other suggestions?

Coolmax CP-500T

Rosewill RP500-2

I would suggest something by Enermax, Tagan, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, Antec or FSP Sparkle. They generally use high quality parts and give very stable voltages on the lines. As you've been going for, at least 500W would be good as it could account for further upgrades, although currently you could probably use a 400W (possibly 450W).

The "problem" with Rosewill is that its Newegg's house brand, which can change suppliers without you knowing. Therefore, you might not get the same quality PSU when buying the same product. I guess this could be true for other brands, but I'm guessing its more frequent with them since they're simply a house brand. Plus, the Sunbeamtech is much nicer than the Rosewill, and only ~$10 more.

No. The "problem" with Rosewill is that they use four different OEM's (ATNG, Wintech, Youngyear, Solytech) and unless you do research you don't know which one you're going to get. But when you're looking at one particular model, the OEM doesn't change.
