Suggest a graphic card to play latest games.?

Here are my system config.

Processor : AMD athlon 2 x3 445 triple core 3.1Ghz
RAM : 2x2gb = 4gb DDR3 1333
MotherBoard: Asus m4n68t-m series
HardDisk :320Gb

suggest me a graphic card where i can play high end games like COD MW3,Gears of war,battle field 2,3,test drive u2 etc..smoothly

I can put around 8k rupees..
 
You will need a new power supply for pretty much any card over a HD6650 or so. Basically any card that requires a PCI-E power connector.

But like the others said, a 460 or 6850 should work fine provided you are not running a large monitor (ie: 1920x1200 or above)

And I may be wrong here, but I am pretty sure Gears is an XBox only title?

I'm thinking of buying 500watt PSU.As per the gtx 460,it requires minimum of 450watt.
 
For that kind of screen and resolution, I seriously think that nearly any low/mid end GPU will do. It is pointless to buy a high end GPU and be stuck on 1024x768 res. You might even get away w/o changing PSU.
 
I would see if you can get a cheap 1080p screen, quality 400watt PSU, and a last gen mid ranged card like the 6870/460/5850 within your budget.

8k rupee is just a little over US$150. It's not going to buy all of those.

A low- to mid-range card is all the OP needs, given his hardware.
 
1024? Yeah, HD 5670, 6670, 6750, or something along those lines. Should leave you with a little money for a nicer PSU, if it turns out to be borderline, too. IMO, after that, your next upgrade should be a monitor.

Actually the members here from the developed world often don't begin to understand (not deliberate) what members from the developing world have to face in assembling gaming systems. I am at present, looking to build an eyefinity setup with (3) 1366x768 monitors with a used video card. It's just too expensive here to even think of anything better.

Man that's kinda sad in a way. Too bad everyone can't have nice stuff too. We are very fortunate.

I'd agree with the 6670 recommendation given the budget/power supply.
