Suggest a good online retailer for digital cameras?

I am looking to buy my first digital camera and I think we will go with the Canon S330. I was wondering if anyone might suggest some good, dependable online retailers for digital cameras? I have seen some decent prices at:
shopphotoking.com
cameratopia.com
bestpriceaudiovideo.com
computers4sure.com

but don't know anything about how prompt they ship, how honest they are about current stock, etc. I would appreciate any help from those of you who have ordered a digital camera from an online place. I saw a few prices that were lower when I shopped on Yahoo! Shopping, but the sites are so generic, I have doubts about who I am really dealing with.

For anyone interested in a site with good reviews of digital cameras, take a look at www.dpreview.com. It's a good site with very detailed reviews.

Thanks for any help!

I would suggest Dell. They have a $10.00 off coupon and a 10% off soupon that are stackable and their prices are really good.

I would stick with a reputable place when buying a camera, some of those places sell grey market goods which means they won't come with any warranty's.

nate hancock, w/ the current Dell promotions circulating the web DreDay is right, hope my opinion helps. 🙂

Thanks to you both for answering. I checked the Dell website but they were out of the camera I was hoping to get. The price wasn't that great but if those discounts are available, it would be a decent buy. Are those coupons/discounts available on all purchases?

Thanks again!

You can get the coupon codes at :

bargain site

The coupons work for all purchases. Dell's stock system is not very accurate. I've ordered items that were out of stock before and receive them 3 days later.

Don't know if you're still looking, but www.b&hphoto.com is an excellent source for digital photography from purchasing to using as a resource to further your knowledge on the topic. I provide tech support for a major camera manufacturer, and I send people daily to this site for additional information of if they're looking for a camera. I think that you will be pleased.

I second the recommendation on B&H, I've bought from them on more than a few occassions. Very knowledgable salesperson always helpful and do not try to sell you stuff you dont need, which is not the norm for on-line vendors.
