Sudoku isn't fun. Its a tool of the debil.

I hate this stupid puzzle. Its not that I can't solve them - as a matter of fact I'm pretty good at them. Solving them is just a long, tedious process of elimination. For me the "this sucks and is a frustrating waste of time" factor vastly outweights the "fun" factor.

Am I the only one???

2 women i wotk with love doing them.

i'm not good with numbers so it takes me even longer to do it. but yeah, its just a process of elimination.

People have moved past the basic 9x9 Sudoku. They are now working on A-Z Sudoku, or 5 Sudoku puzzles in a star pattern, with overlapping 3x3 cells.

My wife loves Sudoku... though it has currently been shoved aside for Picross. Personally, I enjoy 1 or 2 puzzles and then I get bored.

I hate that game. My local newspaper carries two puzzles every (week)day. I only have the patience to solve maybe 2-3 out of 10 every week. I do it because I have a lot of younger cousins who seem to do it much better than I do and it kinda...er...makes me doubt myself 😛

I was at a conference a week or two ago. They had 3 huge dry erase boards and gave 3 guys markers. They were on a stage and were competing against each other. It was pretty cool.... Best part was that the beer was free.

i like them along with crossword puzzles. ahhhhh, the satisfaction of completion.

I like sudoku but is there anything that actually requires math to solve sort of like sudoku?

As opposed to just using numbers

I went through all 50 puzzles on my phone, got my average solve time down to 7 minutes. I think it is interesting that there are more than one way to solve a given puzzle.

It is frustrating, I agree; I can only do them once in a very odd while, just because I feel like I'm needlessly frustrating myself when I'm doing them and rarely feel like I'm having fun doing them (there's that odd while); I typically don't enjoy puzzles like those, although I do enjoy video games lol, which can be similar in terms of frustration and thought, but they're more fun since they're more engaging. Drumming is also fun for me, and although it can be frustrating I don't usually play to frustration, I just play. Plus it's productive (in a sense); I have more to show for it in the end than doing a sudoku puzzle.

I like Sudoku but haven't done any for a while. The "easy" ones I can usually do in 6-7 minutes. Some of the harder ones take me some time over a few days because I only work on them while sitting on the crapper.

So move on, what's the big deal? If you can do them easily, you get bored fast. No challenge you see.
