Suddenly my 3 Mbps cable connection doesn't seem as fast :(

yeah, ever sence Bellsouth came out with different speed DSL, my parents dont understand the need for anything more than the cheapest....
 
Sweeden and some of those other European countries have had 100 mbit full duplex connections for years now at the same price as what most of us in the US pay for "broadband." Many have also had 10 mbit full duplex connections at lower prices than we pay.
