Hey guys--

I was playing a video game a few days ago. Today I booted my PC back on and now when I launch any game, the game never actually launches, but my PC sort of hangs as if the processor is running at 99% but I can still move the mouse. I haven't the slightest clue why. Any ideas? Should I reinstall my drivers?

edit-- i rebooted a third time and didnt launch a game. i noticed that the system was starting up great and ran perfect for the first 2-3 minutes. after that, it was completely sluggish, just like when I attempted to launch a game. i checked cpu usage and it never went above 7%. physical memory at 15%. this is a 2600k i7. i have no idea whats going on, but it took me 3-5 minutes just to get back to this page.

edit2-- after 20m the issue went away without a reboot. browsing in chrome returned to normal. however i tried to launch a game and the issue came back. mass confusion. now i cant even browse this forum.

edit3-- left my computer idle for a while. everything was running fine. launched a game again and system slowed way down as usual. waited long enough for the task manager to pop up (3m or so) and the game i had launched was listed in the processes but had 00 for CPU usage (overall cpu usage 0-1%). im stumped.

Your drive is failing.

CrystalDiskInfo says "Caution" for my C drive... I'm getting yellow indicators in the following areas:

Reallocated Sectors Count
Current Pending Sectors Count
Uncorrectable Sectors Count
