Sucks to be a student.

Have you ever just woke up one day and wanted to just quit going to school? Quit sitting in the chair, listening to the professor's words come in one ear and out the other... Tired of reaching for the pencil in your pocket and filling out endless worksheets, bookwork, the whole 9.

Godamnit. I have college coming up next year (that is if I decide to even go), and I'm not sure I will survive. If so, it'll be a long 4 years.

I wish I was born in the time where there was no schooling, where you had to search for food everyday, where there was adventure and none of this bullsh!t that we live in.

Every day.

I think having a career as a Dentist would really be fun..but i'm not sure if I can handle having to spend 8 years in school.

I have less than 4 weeks until I'm finished my BA

Although I'm sure to look back in a year and wish that I was in school because it will "suck to be working" 😉

do what i did and work as a plumber for 6 yrs. after a job in construction youll try everything you can to not have to do that your whole life.

Life is what you make of it. Even though I'm not disagreeing that school work sucks, I have plenty of fun while here.

I actually find school enjoyable. Though i am lazy and do not like to do homework. I plan on at least going for a masters.

All of my older friends wish they were still in school. I'm sure they weren't talking about the class aspect of college but the fact that everyone is close together and are all doing similar things. Once you get out of school people go their separate ways and the group you hang out with gets smaller. If it takes going to boring arse lectures to in order to experience that, I'll take it. Boring lectures are a small price to pay for having a sea of friends surrounding you.

I have a little over a year left and I'm dreading the fact that I'm going to have to enter the real world and separate a bit from some of my friends.

It's just that, everytime I see a show or movie that depicts the characters work life, it seems like all they do in the office environment is sit their ass down and do nothing but drink coffee all day long.

Godamnit. I have only 1 week of vacation coming up next year (that is if the boss decides to let me go), and I'm not sure I will survive. I'm only 22, it'll be a long 47 years till retirement.

I wish I was born in the time where there was no schooling, when you could retire at 65, where you had to search for food everyday, where there was adventure and none of this working for the man that we live in.

maybe you should take classes youre interested in. that's kinda the point of college. then again, maybe you need a couple of years in the real world to show you what you have to look forward to without a degree.

feels that way until senior year when you wish you could do it all again... the alternative is 'the real world,' heh.

well... so far I've survived 7 months. sometimes I think about jumping out of the third floor window, but I'm still here.
