What do you except when the school's administration doesn't even know when summer ends. They need to take after the northern states and go back in sept, not july.

They seem to think a longer school year will further improve test scores.

Sorry, but bored kids = lower scores.

The thing is they still go the same amount of days that you probably went to school for.

One thing recently the wife told me which I find stupid(I hear a bunch of stupid crap from her) was in this county(Newton) they send all their mentally challenged kids to one school that can handle that type of student. Well, come test time, this school is determined to be a failing school. No sh1t, what did you fricken expect. Some real winners running these school boards and state positions.

....and things aren't going to get better until Kathy Cox gets voted the fsck out of office. She's one of the worst things ever to happen to GA.

With a name like that, she'd could make it in porn, until they took the bag off her head.🙂

Nice. I just finished lunch and now you've instilled a mental image in my poor brain of that whale getting the double-stuff.

Thanks. Really. :frown:

How exactly is 984 FAR below the national average of 1026.

I'm surprised that the lowest state average in the nation is only 42 points below the national average.

dude, by all means, 1000 SAT point is okay.... I mean, I have friends that score a bit above 1000 and they aren't stupid per say. yes, getting 1000 is something you may want to hide, but not something you would be ashame of. kinda like getting a C-. hey, its still a passing grade.
A very eloquent argument.
