Seems like I'm finding more and more people having trouble with Crucial Ballistix RAM and this motherboard. Anyone have this motherboard running stable? If so, what brand / type of RAM are you running, and at what speeds and voltages if possible.

Aggghhhh, fvck. Well, I came home today, and the computer was froze. Now the machine won't POST with both sticks of RAM installed. I'm RMAing for refund, and then ordering another brand. This mobo (atleast the one I have) doesn't like Crucial.

Currently running at 3.42Ghz, specs are as follows:
P5N32-E SLI Plus
C2D E6600 w/tuniq tower 120
2 GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 (PC2-6400)
1 Ea Seagate 320GB SATA II
2 Ea Seagate 80GB SATA
2 Ea NEC 3550 DVD/CD writers
eVGA 8800GTS

Have tried to go to 3.6 but it will Post and lock up, I haven't had time to do anymore with it. I don't think it's a memory problem because it runs at 450 X 7 just fine. I believe it's either a heat issue or overvolt on the NB or SB. More to come this weekend. I purchased this board because I want to SLI the 8800 card in the future and the new Gibabyte 680i board is not available at this time. I've been satisfied so far, ORTHOs stable for 10 hrs.

Hmmm. Damn, I hope I don't have a bad motherboard. I wish there was a way to tell the difference between bad RAM and a bad mobo.... But oh well. I'm going to try to replace the RAM with something different, and see how that goes. If I have to get another mobo, I'm going with the first Intel chipset that I find which can handle my 8800 & my PCIe 8X RAID controller.
