I've had the Logitech Z-680's for a while now. They haven't been used much since I don't bring them to school. The sub never has rattled until now. I got home from school a few days ago and it has been rattling ever since. The sub and the speakers are not even close to maxed out, it's about 1/4 of the way cranked. When I was moving it a few days ago, I did accidentally push in part of the front of the sub (the mesh part) and can't figure out how to get in there to push (or pull) it back out. Is there a trick to fixing that? Would this be the cause of the rattle? Any advice appreciated...

It could have made the grill loose and a part of it is now rattling against the rest of the sub. Or is the sub touching anything? Or sitting on something?

Nope. It's under my desk near my feet. I have it about an inch or two from the wall and about an inch from the side thats facing my desk. The floor is carpeted.

I bent my 560 grille back with the use of a paperclip. I bent the end with a pair of pliers so it was just a small right angle at the end and then fit it into one of the holes of the grille and pulled it back into shape.

Worked nicely. While I was fixing it I noticed a little piece of metal or something behind the grill. I actually got it through thanks to my nice magnetic screwdriver :p I think that's what was rattling in there...
