Subwoofer help!!

I know my posts have been bad but I am new to this whole thing.
I am buying Klipsch synergy s-10, polk audio TSiCS10, Polk TSi300, Yamaha RX-V573 receiver. I need help finding a reasonably priced sub. This is costing $350. I want to stay under $500 total. I have $150 for a sub. I want it to sound good. I am in a dorm room right now and then I will be putting it in my basement. I have been looking through Craigslist but just dont what would be good. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

the wharfedale sw150 is only about £150, might be reasonable in the US as well

Can you atleast point me in the right direction and tell what sub you would pick and which would be a good price to pay?

i have a Klipsch sub12, its decent for the money.
more of a movie sub than a music sub.
amazon has them for @ 250

the thread i linked has discussions of various budget subs. start at the end and go backwards

honestly for 150$ id just get a Bic F12 and be done with it

for that budget you arnt going to get much, id look into the kits as this will get you highest quality for the $. such as:

I was quite pleased with my BIC F12. For the price point, I think it's pretty awesome.
