True. Still good food though for people who don't care.

Also though, many of their sandwiches don't have any trans fat, unlike a Big Mac.

Soooo...does anyone remember a couple years ago when it used to be 3 foot longs for $9.99? Then 3 for $10.99? Now one for $5 is a hot deal... thumbs down, subway.

people pay full price there? i always get tons of buy one footlong and a drink get a footlong free coupons in the mail

I just ate a $5 footlong turkey and ham on honey oat. It was pretty good (only meal I've eaten all day).

my local subway has the 3 6" subs on certain days after certain hours for 9.99.

I just never go to subway cuz they give you so little meat.

get a subway club.. forced to have lots of meat since its three dif kinds haha. The guy who makes it for me at my subway puts 6 slices of each on a footlong, which is quite a bit..

maybe you just have to be regulars..

I went and got one of the most expensive subs, prime rib, which is like a $7 sub for $5. great deal if you get an expensive sub. I wanted to get meatball but it's not that much more than $5 so I took advantage.

I saw 19c cheeseburgers 10 years ago.

It was in the middle of Arizona I think. But yes, food prices have been going up...

Yep ... my local Subway had a 3 for $11 deal going on for months & ended it when this one started .... $15 for 3 still isn't bad though.

Must be a jersey thing, because it's been the same for every subway I've ever gone to too. I know I'm going to regret it, but since I'm home today, and there's no food in the fridge, I will try a prime rib today.

I had way too much subway one semester. Can't stand it anymore. Must have spent $80 a week on subway alone. The only thing I get now from subway is the footlong ham with spicy mustard with everything except carrots and banana peppers (overpowers other ingredients). Healthy and delicious 🙂 Also tried Penn Station recently. They have really good subs but I'm pretty sure there's butter in the bread they use. Too good.

This may be a good deal now but only 3 years ago, they had coupons for 2 footlongs for $8.99 all the time and even 3 footlongs for $9.99 at special times (Sunday afternoons?) There was even a trip where my school team stopped at a Subway restaurant that had 3 footlongs for $8.99 after 4pm. All this was only 3 years ago. I don't know, but I just don't see $5 on a Subway's sub as being a good deal since that used to be the regular price for most of their footlongs not too long ago.

Same experience every time I tried at various locations.

I'd rather they give 1' sub worth of meat in a 6" sub..
