:barf;

I hate mayonnaise (except in tuna salad), which makes it easy for me.

I've twice walked out of Subway while they were in the middle of making my sandwich. The first time, they put some nasty looking meat on it. I asked them to use different meat and they refused. The second time was because they drowned the sandwich in dressing. I asked them to remake it and they refused.

Bastards happen to have regular mayo & low fat mayo. He squirted about a cup worth of the stuff on before I could get him to stop. AND, light mayo tastes like shit compared to regular mayo. Lose-lose.

'easy on the mayo'

subway switched to crappy tasting mayo a decade and a half ago. i'm sure it cost less than the original stuff (just like their gourmet bread switch 7 years ago gave us crappier bread 'well, now we put oats on it!'). in fact, i bet what they have now is salad dressing and not mayo.

oil & vinegar (they used to have a pretty good vinaigrette) or add mayo at home ftw!

Having worked part time at a pizza shop for 20+ years (a hobby), I took 10's of 1000's of sub orders. "light mayo" meaning "easy on the mayo" was the norm in this area. Everywhere, that is, except subway.

when you worked pizza i'm guessing that light (i.e. low cal) mayo was a contradiction in terms :p;

When I worked at Subway, I always asked for clarification when someone asked for light mayo, because it can be interpreted either way.
