Blah. I said "..and just a little mayonnaise please". She picks up the white mayonnaise squirt tube and drenches my sandwich and goes "anything else?"

Yuk. No mam, that'll be all. :(

Just get it without, they never understand what 'a little' means at any sandwich joint.

So you still took the sandwich didn't you?

If you didn't want that much mayo, why didn't you just ask for another sandwich?

Yeah, they get in the habit of doing the amount that they're expected to put on, and even if you tell them to change it, it just goes in one ear and out the other. Try saying "I want one line of mayonnaise" or "two lines of mayonnaise." IIRC the standard is supposed to be three lines of mayonnaise across the sandwich.

Yeah, happened to me so much, I finally stopped having them put any on.
"Just a smidgen" means squat to them!

I hate how it clumps up at one end because they don't know how to start it off ... ugh.

I hate when they are putting on the specific amount of veggies, but ignore the last couple inches of the sandwich. I want equal veggies throughout, damnit!

Me: "Just a little"
* 2 seconds later *
Me: "STOP!"
Subway Dipshit: "Derrr, what?"
Me: "That amount's fine. I said a little. Do you know what 'a little' means?"
Subway Dipshit: "Derrr"

Not only that, but if you are having more than one condiment, the clumps are all at one end.

BTW, OP, I tried telling them in Spanish once and I think they spit in my sandwich a little. Subway workers take their mayo seriously. ;)

when i was in college they had a sandwhich line in the lunch room. after a couple weeks i learned to avoid a certain worker because she would talk way to much and take 3 time as long as anyone else and when she put mayo on there it was literaly some mayo with a side of sandwhich. if i squeesed the sandwhich you could scrape out probably about 1/4 cup of the stuff. it was beyond nasty.

"One line" has never failed me
