Subway Sandwiches chicken about 50% actual chicken

Anyone who has ever actually bit into a real piece of chicken and Subway chicken knew from the start that Subway chicken was not real chicken. Too spongy, even for dried overcooked chicken patties.

Its sort of like cooking a nice omlette made with eggs at home vs having one of those reconstituted dehydrated egg ones, you know something is off.

Subways were always kinda goofy because of all the fast foods out there, a subway sammich is one of the easiest to replicate at home with better ingredients for a similar price. Some stuff like Croissants or Fried Chicken I'll give that the homemade from scratch version is a huge pain in the ass but a sando? Come on!
I can't even stomach American chicken. I can taste the chemicals. I remember eating at Hooters in Phoenix once and ordered chicken breast. It was revolting. To top it off GW Bush's motorcade drove by...

Yes I know it sounds far fetched.

-Damn you were having a one of a kind bad day...

Hooters.
Chicken breast.
Phoenix.
Bush.

Not many people can point to one day and say "that's the exact moment I knew I'd hit rock bottom".

Yeap. The food sucked and Bush drove by. Same trip I ran into the one day it rains in the year and watched in horror as cars hydroplaned.

Was there for a conference.

But it was not the worst day of my life.
