Subway gives me diarrhea

No. I don't have the intestinal fortitude of a sickly child.

Ditto.

Also, when given the option, I avoid Subway. Because of the taste.
If they are the only thing available, I make do with a basic turkey and provolone. Anything more fancy than that and they risk fucking it up.
Seriously.
Those guys are not working there because of their amazing talents.

Never gotten sick and I enjoy eating their sandwiches (moreso for the 'salad' with all the peppers etc. added etc.), altho they are independently run so proper food management can lapse with sh!tty ee's/owners.

the thing is I eat most of my meat rare and still bleeding, and it doesn't bother me. I remember at work this past summer we had a cookout, EVERYONE got food poisoning, I ate twice as much as anyone else, and I didn't even get gassy. I eat chicken that's barely cooked through, raw eggs, barely cooked meat, steak that's been in the fridge for two weeks. None of that bothers me. But there's just something about subway 5 dollar footlongs that make them careen out my asshole at the speed of sound
It sounds like you've never had anything as healthy as Subway and your stomach couldn't take the veggies and bread.

lol, White Castle does that to me. Never had a problem with Subway though -- maybe the one you went to is just dirty?

Subway is the equivalent of McDonald's when it comes to cold cut sandwiches, I avoid them. If I'm going out for a sub I stick to local places which are by and far much better than Subway. If I do eat at a chain joint it's usually Jersey Mike's.

any chain suffers from the hired help. If you are constantly getting shits my bet is the "help" is not sanitary.

One of the first things I consider entering a fast food place is how the staff act to the customer and in the back. You get angry motherfuckers working, just leave. They are going to fuck you over somehow.

Do you normally eat sandwiches? It's just deli meat, bread, and fresh veggies---like off the shelf stuff. I doubt it's their food.

On a serious note, everything I have read indicates there is an epidemic of food "poisonings", for lack of a better term.
Most food borne illnesses are relatively mild, and pass in a day or two. And, what will make one person ill, won't make another ill. Since there is no real method to gather info for sub critical illnesses, its quite possible a particular Subway, or other establishment is making people ill on a regular basis.

Five dollar footlongs make me shit my guts out 🙁

Anyone else have this problem?

I have the EXACT same problem. I have stopped eating there now for a while. Usually, I would eat the sandwich there and by the time I would get home it was time for MONSTER DUMP. Little flecks of lettuce and w/e other vegetables-- it kind of looks like minestrone.

What sub(s) did you eat?

Thanks mr.matt and estrella for your comments on this thread, i'm so relieved to hear im not the only one with this problem, that it almost makes my tummy feel better. I like others here am suffering from a strange diarrhea that only takes place when i eat subway. I love subway going in but really don't like the way it comes out lately. I first thought it may have been some food poisoning or some bad vegetables but i quickly found that to be false when i retured. I then was determined that the subway i go to must be dirty and unsanitary; so, i headed towards three other local locations but sadly was at square one again, with each attempt and new location i was losing hope that my days in the restroom would be over. I have called corporate and asked about this to see if it's "normal"...of coarse they said no! However, i continued to eat subway just leaving a spare hour every evening for me to take that desired stool. In the end my findings are still perplexed, i really thought i would have found a reasonable explanation for all of it but instead i'm left with mixed messages. Let me explain what i eat and how often below
and maybe you guys can help explain why this is happening (again this is only when i have subway).
Subway for lunch about two or three times a week.
I'm not your average subway eater, i choose not to have meat when i eat there, i'm not a vegiterrean but only have either the veggie patty on wheat or flatbread or i just have the vegetables without the patty again on wheat or flat bread, whichever one of these i choose for that day will always be accomponied by american cheese, oregeno, and ranch.
This combo sends me back to my potty training days as i sit there for an hour sometimes going back for a second round.
If anyone has any info. Regarding this strange case, or have encountered this situation please share thanks!
I have now limited subway to about once a month as it has really bothered me to spend that much time on the stool regardless of how amazing i think it tastes.

i haven't found any correlation to explosive diahrea and a particular food or place.

sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

The only time I've ever eaten subway was when I piled on the jalapenos. I don't normally react badly to spice, so I don't think this was that.

But boy, when i fired 12 guage rounds of semi solid shit from out my anus, peppering and eventually repainting the sides of the toilet bowl and splitting my sphincter in the process, boy did I regret the chillis then.

The ring sting was unbearable. I was also out at work and the toilet here is shared by the entire floor and rather gross, so I had legged it to the nearest hotel. Problem was my anus hurt so bad from the spice - as yet not fully digested and absorbed by my intestines - that I need to pop out of the stall, waddle to the sink, soak a few handfuls of tissue in cold water, and then proceed to waddle back and sooth my anus, attempting to stave off the feeling that I had just dipped it into lava.

Upon further inspection of my stool, after I had put the fire out, so to speak, I saw lumps of various vegetables and possibly meat - not sure on that. If it was so bad, I'm not sure why I just didn't vomit it all out.

Needless to say, the shotgun shit that I pumped out of my colon at an alarming rate, about 12 rounds worth of, was enough to convince me never to go back to Subway.

I never did.

Given that your first post is a necro, I was expecting you to try to sell us colon cleansing pills at some point. 😛

I got diarrhea, vomited, and stomach flue a couple of years back hours after having a sub from subway, and since then I haven't step foot into their establishment.

Seriously. Why anyone would pay money for that "food" is beyond me. I've tried countless locations with friends who insist it's "not that bad" - and I am not a particularly picky purveyor of foods. Bread always tastes like shit. Vegetables taste like shit, never once seen a ripe tomato in there. And every single "meat" they serve leaves ∞ to be desired. And for my first two years at university, it was the only fucking option on campus. Fuck Subway.

There's a product called subway-away that'll clean those stains right out of your underwear. You should totally check it out, I eat Subway WAY more often since I discovered Subway-away.
