Subspace communication is real.

If we would have such devices, we would already have commercialized it. Imagine internet for smartphones. Television, internet and radio coverage on the entire planet and into space without delays or line of sight issues. We would already be expanding into the solar system. The USA is really not hiding anything.
And as long as there is no company that comes out with a big commercial advertisement that they have a practical fusion reactor or a practical room temperature superconductor.. well, i am still waiting.
 
I often wondered why Bob Lazar hasn't been assassinated yet.

I do have to mention, once they really solve the super conductor mystery and turn it into practical use, household fusion will follow immediately. Better sensors, better way of analyzing plasma. But, i am willing to bet the magic answer to fusion can also be found in the recent research of "hot" plasma between layers of "cold" plasma in the atmosphere in the sun... Makes me think of that candy :

I personally think it would be ridiculous to believe in the whole vast universe we are the only life. Having said that I dont know if other life has made it here but who knows. I also think the US government/military has all kinds of advanced technology we will never know about. I could easily imagine them running one public program like Nasa then another secret one that is way more advanced

Just think. The SR-71 was built in the 60's and the F-117A was built in '81. It was only until '88 that the F-117a was revealed to the public. The stuff they have now I can almost guarantee it's unmanned. I always said one day they will retrofit the Raptor F-22 to be flown unmanned one day. Largly due to the fact the computer limits what the pilot can do without killing him/her to G-forces. With the F-22 being autonomous you can do a whole hell of a lot more.

In my UFO research I have read that Dwight D. Eisenhower and the famous Majestic 12 meet with aliens to broker a deal for aliens to abduct humans to study the physiology in exchange for stealth technology.

Funny thing is I also read that it was actually a Russian's equations that lead to stealth technology.

The only thing you have to know is that google once started out as a search engine. Then it got big extremely fast with help from any government. And google tech was everywhere... Google tech, also known as echelon. Data centers all over the (western) world. Storing and matching everything. Want an account, link your phone number to it ? Sound familiar...

I am not convinced whatsoever because I have a data point of 1, our world. Therefore I'm completely agnostic on the matter and that seems to be the only valid scientific approach. I would be more inclined to believe that any "extraterrestrial" beings are in fact terrestrial in origin, but so far advanced in intellectual evolution as to be qualitatively different, and therefore it is possible in this given scenario that they have found ways of moving through time and/or space in ways our limited intelligences may not even in principle begin to understand. Fantastic? Certainly and I don't propose it as reality, however it does have an advantage over "aliens" and that is it uses the one known case of life in the universe. It also provides a solution to the Fermi Paradox. Unless the necessary AI and technological advances are fundamentally impossible, we should be able to create a von neumann probe which would self replicate. Sagan proposed a rather weak objection to them, but the complexities of making such a device are far greater than any imaginable difficulties in regulating replication. That leads to either he disquieting notion that technological civilizations wipe themselves out before reaching the required capability, that we are alone, or that such civilizations are so rare that they we might as well be alone. There's other scenarios I can imagine, but these seem to be the ones which are most widely accepted.

So as Fermi before us asked, "If They exist, where are They?"

As for the Fermi paradox, if you believe the great filter explanation let's hope the filter was the jump from single cell to multiple cell organisms, or the jump to intelligent enough to look up and ask where everyone is.

Otherwise, we're fucked.

He's also been discredited several times over. He describes "element 115" as having "gravity compression properties" for FTL travel. That's interesting since element 115 was synthesized in 2004 and it has a half-life of a few milliseconds...meaning it's a useless element.
