Heh heh... What about this one? 😀

Ze Germans

That's hilarious!

At least Subaru is trying to go with creative commercials. I absolutely hate the MB ones. Has anyone actually listened to the speaker? They always use this guy who has a falsetto voice and sounds like he has something stuck up his butt. It is absolutely annoying.

I think that's the actor who played John-John on some TV show.

subaru's bad, but i believe the competiton for 'worst commercials' is being fought between lexus, acura, and infiniti.

All I want from Subaru is a sedan version of the STi. The WRX sedan is sooooooo damn nice looking, but I've read horror stories about the cheap manual gearbox they've stuck in it.

Subaru has had some real losers, for sure. The funny thing is that all they needed to do was pair some WRC footage with "94 Hours" by As I Lay Dying and they would have had the cheapest and most awesome car commercial ever made.

That said, NO ONE has worse car commercials than Honda. They usually start with a white backdrop and then put the fucking BASE MODEL car in front of it, the one with plastic hubcaps and non-body-color trim, then they have that fucking cartoon guy who is even more annoying than Clippy the Paperclip from Microsoft Office trying to sell us the car based on some not-very-enticing interest rate like 2.9% or some bullshit. Nothing about the awards the cars win, nothing about the power or performance or quality, nothing of any interest whatsoever. I know these cars sell themselves, but it's just fucking LAZY. And when they've had halo cars, they haven't even bothered to advertise them at all. They need to fire the living shit out of their marketing team.

after reading this thread i was curious, since i'd never seen a commercial for my car (2007 civic si). apparently there have only been 2, one weird cell shaded one in 2006, and a tron one in 2008. neither show more than 2 seconds of the real damn car, or the sound, or of it driving on real roads. some kid with a $25 flip cam made a better commercial.
