CHERRY HILL, N.J., October 1, 2003 -- Subaru of America, Inc., the only car company that offers symmetrical all-wheel drive as standard equipment on every vehicle in its product line, reported September sales of 13,444 units. This total represents a seven percent increase in sales year-to-date.

The Subaru Forester recorded sales of 4,250 units, a slight decline from September 2002. The Legacy model line sales totaled 5,541 units, while the Subaru Outback recorded sales of 3,688 units for the month. The Impreza line recorded 2,749 units, with WRX and STi making up nearly 65 percent of the sales for that model line. Baja posted 904 units for the month.

Good for them. :) Although September 2003 was -3.6% over September 2002, year to date is 8.3% over YTD Sep. 2002.

The Impreza Wagon took a beating though, sales down 20% over Sept. 2002...

It's going to be a while.. :(:p Probably not until my girlfriend is out of school and able to find a full time job.

I'm hoping within the next year or so. Gotta start dreaming somewhere, I guess. ;)

I am? :Q

News to me. :p

I don't make much off my eBay sales, if that's what you mean.. Just enough for some extra spending money. Not enough to pay a 750$/mo car/insurance bill. ;)

Yeah.. well, of course it's going to depend on how much you put down, and your financing.. it was just a rough estimate.. probably on the high side.

IF you can get 0.0%.. with 5,000$ down, your payments would be 442$/mo for 60mo. Including insurance(130$-160/mo?), that makes it about 575 - 600/mo.

Still a pretty significant bill..

Of course, if your financing goes up, term length or down payment/trade in go down.. your payment will go up a lot.

3.9% with 2000$ down for 48 months is ~665/mo+insurance.. so it'd be well over 750/mo in that case.
