Sub categories

Doesn't fusetalk use sub-categories?
If yes: Why not use it? Categorie: os, sub w9x, w2k, linux etc.
If No: Any plans of implementing that (ever)?

/me just curious.

It would create waaaay to many forums IMHO. If every category had multiple sub forums we'd quickly end up with a very diluted user base.

well, I think it would be cool if you could go into sub directories, but if you went into the main directory, you could see the latest threads from all the subdirectories.

Good idea? Bad idea?

something similar to ebay would be really cool. If you go into 'for sale' you could go into the subcategory 'monitor' and view all the monitors. However, if you didn't go into the subcategory then you could just view everything that was 'for sale'.

Is this at all possible?

FFMCobalt: "Nothing is impossible, but that doesn't mean we DO everything" is what we say at my work... 😎

hmm... gotta remember that one.

With Fuse Talk so great how it is, what else would we want to improve upon?
If Fuse Talk never advanced from where it is now, would that be acceptable to the requirements of today's forum'ers?

We have PLENTY of ideas for 3.0 already. More information will be available later this fall. A couple of tidbits I can release is that it will be completely style sheet based, no more font size=2 outdated html. Everything will be style based. Multilingual support is planned as well.
