sub $50 sound system

When it comes to sound I am a bit cheap I admit. So as follows I'm looking for the "best" sound system around the sub $50 range. A friend recommended me this, AOPEN Titanium GT 360 degree Surround Sound 3 pcs Speakers with Subwoofer and wired remote. Before I purchase, I thought I get advice from a place I value the most...

Find some z-640's for cheap AR or something. I love mine, for the price.

For $50 you can get some Creative Inspire 2500 speakers. I have them - nice sound and loud 🙂!

You can get refurbed Creative speakers from their website. If you don't mind the short warranty and the brown box, they're great deals.

you can get the altec lansing 221... kick any creative or these speakers for under $50...

really low wattage and not a very broad frequency response range... I'm pretty sure there's better elsewhere.

I'm gonna have to agree with him. I've heard just about everything on the market for pc speaker systems and for sub 50 bucks it's really hard to go wrong with the Altec Lansing.
