Sub $400 Laptop/Netbook???

Hi! I would like to buy a laptop/netbook that is less than $400. So far I have come across the Acer w/ Celeron 877 in the range of $280. All that I hope to acheive from this is be able to have multiple IE windows/tabs open for research along with having Word open to take notes. Be capable of playing HD videos from either youtube or netflix, etc. or doing all three at once. I would want it to be small and light weight and have battery life of atleast 4hrs minimum and a screen size of 11 - 13 inch. I also do plan on connecting it to my monitor prefrably via HDMI and using a BT keyboard and mouse

I do plan on upgrading the RAM and HHD to 8GB and 120GB SSD SATAIII.

So are there any laptops/netbook you would suggest?? Thanks

Hey guys thanks for the recommendations. I got the Asus because it did have better processor and the chipset was apparently compatible with SATA III configs. I did not like the thinkpad because its weighty like the samsung + the screen is tooo big to lug around. I think the ONLY drawback to the Asus over the Acer (not considering things like processor n graphics) is that the hardware is not user friendly in terms of upgradeability . So i will have to shell out another $50 to let geeksquad ppl handle it >_<!
