Sub $200 cases?

Hey guys. I need a bit of help. I'm looking at cases, and well there simply are too many to choose from!

What are some great cases for under $200. I might want to do watercooling in the future, but that shouldnt be the decision maker.

There are just too many cases to pick from, how do I know what is right for me?

How much stuff are you putting in it? Do you want LEDs, or plain? Does weight matter? Do you want tons of space, or is paying less for a little less space ok? How many fans do you need? Does your system necessitate a large amount of airflow?

I have the Coolermaster Cosmos and have had that for about 2 years. Lots of room inside. I mean LOTS of room. I don't watercool so you'll have to look to someone who does with that case. But one case I'd probably get if I ever decided to get rid of the Cosmos would be the Coolermaster HAF case. Pretty similar layout as the Cosmos. And I think you can get one off of Newegg for around $150.

Dang.............lol.

Stuff.........uh one or two hard drives, one or two disk drives, probably no more than one video card, maybe two depending on the card(right now I have a 2900xt, looking to upgrade soon), space doesn't matter as long as it doesn't affect airflow, so no super tiny ones, fans no preference, just enough to cool things down.
I don't know what to say about the last question. I rarely overclock my gpu, but I do overclock my cpu.
 
The Ultra m998 is always one to consider. Good for tinkerers as it can be stripped down right to the frame for creative wire management, etc. Amazon and TigerDirect seem to have the best price on it right now. Free, slow-boat shipping at Amazon too. I like my Silverstone Kublai KL03 too, but it's big and heavy. There are a couple of new Silverstone models on the way, but IDK if they are inside the $200. envelope or not - they do have interesting names though.

Thanks. I looked up the Kublai, looks awesome and its in my price range. I'll consider it, still looking though.


Also checking out the Antec 900/1200/300 😛, and some of Cooler Master's offerings.
 
sub-200 man you got a lot of choices, but I like my P182 gun metal. It's very quiet and pretty roomy inside for those massive gaming rigs and also the cable management is top notch.
 
I've found the names of the new Silverstones. The one that is in the channel right now is the Fortress (SST-FT01) with some places selling it at a smidge under $200. There is a review of it right here over on the techie side. The other is the Raven (SST-RV01). It is steel and plastic, so the price should be reasonable. IDK if they are attempting to make it the Christmas bomb like C-M did last year with the 690. I doubt they are willing or able to do the heavy rebating to really stir up the buzz like CM did. Both can be seen at http://www.silverstonetek.com and there are a few other reviews of the Fortress out there and show impressions on the Raven.

I second the Coolermaster Haf 932. Its large/spacious, excellent cooling, looks cool imo. Downsides are its steel and its heavy. Heavy means you build big back and biceps when you lift it to lans.
 
I'm using an older (slightly modified) Lian Li V1000BW.
While it's not the most spacious rig as far as working around, it's a quality-built case.
I'm currently running a Q6700 @ 3.2GHz (400x8, 1.27V, 23c), HD4850, 2x640GB HDD's, 2xDVD-R/W's & a front-panel USB/MMC reader.
I'm quite happy with it. Oh...it was WAY less than $200 too! 🙂
